Dave has been handling claims for Hawkeye since 1998 as a field adjuster for the state of Iowa and surrounding states. He is experienced in all forms of material damage claims, auto, custom restoration, painting, heavy equipment, specialty vehicles, recreational vehicles, cargo, farm equipment, agricultural equipment, and marine equipment. Dave is a current member of the Central Iowa Claims Association and a member of TARA.

George Capps

Owner / Partner, Vice President Property & Casualty Claims

George has been with Hawkeye Claims Corp. since 1996. He previously practiced law in Iowa for 20 years. George’s specialty is with property claims, both residential and commercial, as well as bodily injury claims, investigations and evaluations. He is a graduate of the Drake University School of Law. George is a Certified Civil Claim Mediator, also a former member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, and Iowa Workers Compensation Lawyers. He obtained Civil Mediator Accreditation from the National Mediation Corporation, Birmingham, Alabama in 1996.

Jodi Reynolds

Senior Multi Line Adjuster

Jodi has worked in the claims industry as a claims professional since 1984 and joined our Hawkeye team in 1997. She is a Multi-Line Adjuster with full handling of bodily injury, casualty, automobile, general liability, marine, heavy equipment, long-haul trucking, motorcycles and mobile home claims. Jodi is highly respected as the foremost authority on auto appraisals in Southeastern Iowa. She is a member of the Southeast Iowa Claims Associaiton and a member of TARA.

Jon Neufeld

Multi Line Field Adjuster

Jon began in the industry after high school in a body shop working up to management. He started as a claims adjuster in 2004 and was a field adjuster throughout Iowa and the Midwest. Jon is experienced in liability, property & injury claims, as well as workman’s comp, material damage, crop loss, auto, custom restoration, heavy equipment, municipal vehicles, recreational vehicles, cargo, agricultural equipment, total loss settlements, and diminished value settlements. We were fortunate to have Jon join our team at Hawkeye in 2023.

Melissa Jackson

Office Manager

Melissa is commencing her 20th year of being the center of Hawkeye Claims’ operations from claims intake to adjuster dispatch to report processing through invoicing and accounting. We rely upon her to know where our field adjusters are at any given time so that incoming claims can be addressed by the closest qualified field adjuster in the shortest amount of time.
